About Foster City Summer Days
The City of Foster City is excited to host the community event, Summer Days, for the 4th time this August. It made its original debut in 2019. Summer Days will be another opportunity for families, neighbors, and friends to connect and to celebrate the City's birthday. We will be partnering up once again with local Foster City businesses and organizations to host a jam packed weekend full of fun activities for folks of all ages. Admission to the event is free. Tickets are required for the carnival rides.
Please note that the event layout for 2025 will be modified due to ongoing construction of our new Community Center.
For general questions, email recreation@fostercity.org.

Activities
Summer Days will have lots of fun and exciting activities happening all throughout the day, with something for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned for more details!

Carnival Rides
This family friendly event will also feature carnival rides and games. Admission to the event is free, tickets are required for the rides. For children under 36" minimum height, they can ride on designated rides with an adult/chaperone. All riders must have a wristband.

Advanced discounted wristband tickets are available for purchase online only from June 20 through August 14.
After August 14, tickets can only be purchased onsite at the event. Individual ride tickets can be purchased at the event only.
Rubber Ducky Races
The popular race from the 1980s is back! Community members who bring their own inflatable vessel, such as a raft or inner tube, are eligible to compete in a race on the lagoon along the boardwalk. We will have a special race just for folks interested in participating in Anything But a Boat Race.
Please return in June 2025 for more information.
